Pecan Sandies

Pecan Sandies (Ann Mumford)

7/8 cups flour
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup superfine sugar (Albertsons)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup finely ground pecans


Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add vanilla.  Add flour gradually.  Nuts may have to be mixed by hand as dough will be stiff.  May shape into balls and flatten with fork.  Bake 10 minutes (or longer ) at 350 until brown on edges.
