Energy Bars

Energy Bars

1 cup peanut butter (all-peanut—no sweeteners added—is best for this)
¾ cup honey
¼ cup light corn syrup
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 to 2 cup raisins
or
2 ½ cups oats
2 cups peanuts

Grease a 9x13 inch pan lightly

Combine peanut butter, honey and corn syrup in saucepan.  Cook over medium heat until well blended, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Add the pecans, oats and raisins; mix well.  Press mixture into prepared pan.  Cool.  Cut into 36 bars.

Per bar: 132 calories, 2.9 g protein, 6.3 g fat, 0 cholesterol, 18.3 g carbohydrate, 45.7 mg sodium, 145.6 mg. potassium.
