Sweet and Sour Chicken

Sweet and Sour Chicken (Laurie Ivers)

1 chicken-cut up
2 eggs (optional)
Mazola oil
Garlic salt
Cornstarch
Sauce:
¾ to 1 cup sugar
½ cup vinegar
¼ cup pineapple juice
¾ TB Catsup
1 TB soy sauce
1 TB MSG
½ tsp salt

Rub garlic salt on chicken, shake in cornstarch bag, dip in egg and fry in oil until ¾ cooked.  Pour sauce over chicken and bake for 1 hour or longer at 350.  Laurie fixes this on Sunday.  Bake at 300 during church and it’s ready to each when she comes home.
