Peach Pie (Jean Sisson)


Spread 3 or 4 ounces of sweetened cream cheese on the bottom of a baked pastry shell.  Slice fresh peaches on top.  Combine 3 mashed peaches with 1/3 cup water.  Mix 1 cup sugar and 4 TB cornstarch, add, and cook until thick.  Add ¼ tsp almond flavoring and pour over sliced peaches.  Chill until set.  Top with whipped cream.
