Buttermilk Marble Cake
1 pkg white cake mix
1—1 ¾ or 4 oz pkg instant butterscotch pudding
1 cup water
½ cup cooking oil
4 eggs
½ cup chocolate syrup
In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix pudding mix, water
and oil. Beat on medium speed for 2
minutes, or until mixture is smooth. Add
eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour 2/3 of the batter into well greased and
floured 10 inch fluted pan. Mix
remaining 1/3 batter with chocolate syrup and pour over evenly, butterscotch
mixture. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour or
until done. Cool 25 to 30 minutes in
pan. Remove from pan; cool. sprinkle w/
powdered sugar.
(cook 40 minutes at 350)
