Blueberry Pie

Blueberry Pie

¼ cup sugar
5 TB cornstarch per/double batch
1/5 tsp salt
1/5 tsp cinnamon
1 15 oz can blueberries (heavy syrup)
1 ½ TB butter


Combine sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon.  Stir in liquid from berries, heat stirring constantly until thick and smooth.  Add berries and butter and pour in 8” unbaked pie shell.  Cover with top curst.  Bake at 400 for 30 minutes, or until well browned.  Add 1 tsp lemon juice if desired.
