Black Bottom Cupcakes

Black Bottom Cupcakes

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp .Salt

Blend above well, then add a 6 oz. package of chocolate chips, set aside

Mix in bowl:
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp soda
1/3 cup oil
1 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1 TB vinegar
¼ cup cocoa
1 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla

Fill cupcake papers about ¼ full with chocolate batter.  Top each with heaping teaspoon of cream cheese filling.  Then add a  little more chocolate batter over top.


Sprinkle top with sugar and almonds, or frost with your favorite chocolate frosting when bakes.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
