Mom's Chocolate Cake

Moms chocolate Cake

1 cube butter

2 cups sugar

1 cup buttermilk w/2 tsp soda (set aside)

2 eggs

½ cup cocoa

2 ½ cups sifted flour

½ tsp vanilla

1 cup boiling water

cream butter and sugar and add eggs.  Sift cocoa and flour together and add alternately with buttermilk.  Add vanilla and boiling water.  Bake at 375 till done, about 30-35 minutes.
