Strawberry Cake

Strawberry Cake

1 (box) White Cake Mix
1 box strawberries frozen (can use fresh)
½ cup water
1 cup Wesson oil (1/3 cup oil)
4 whole eggs
2 Tbsp. Flour
1 pkg.  Strawberry Jello (small Box)

Put cake mix, Jello, flour, into bowl, add ½ c. water and beat 2 minutes.  Add oil and eggs ones at a time and beat thoroughly.  Last add ¾ cup strawberries.  Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until done.  Makes 3 “9 layers or 1 oblong 5x13 pan.

Icing:

1 Box confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
½ cup strawberries

Mix altogether and spread on cake while warm, not hot.
