Eileen's Chocolate Frosting

Eileens Chocolate Frosting

1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
(First layer; frost and let set)

6 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
½ cup light cream
1 cup butter or margarine
2 ½ cup unsifted powdered sugar (measure, then sift)


Melt chocolate chips, butter and cream until smooth.  Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar.  Pour into bowl which sits inside larger bowl and is surrounded by ice.  Beat until it holds its shape and turns milk chocolate in color.  Cake needs to be refrigerated.
