Dutch Oven Chicken

Dutch Oven Chicken

½ lb. bacon
8-10 chicken
potatoes
carrots
onions
Cheese
1 stick ubtter
½ cup 7up
seasoned salt
pepper
flour


Put ½ lb. bacon in dutch oven.  Cut in small pieces remove bacon.  Add 8 chicken breasts which have been floured.  Brown.  Add potatoes (cut in 4ths), carrots cut in 1-inch pieces, onions cut in 8th,  (mushrooms?), 1 stick butter, ½ cup 7up.  Parboil carrots and pour 1 cup carrot juice over also.  Season with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, garlic salt and maybe poultry seasoning.  Cook 45 minutes with 8 coals on lid and pan set in coals.  Put chicken on top.  Cover with mild cheddar.  Cover.  Cook 10 minutes to meld cheese.
