Pecan Bars (Eileen)
Mix together:
½ pie crust dough
½ French tart pastry

Roll out to fit cookie on sheet
cake pan with high sides. Bake at 350
8-10 minutes. Dough should still be
white.

Melt 3 sticks butter add 2 cups
sugar. Stir constantly and cook 5
minutes.

Add ½ lb honey (3/8 cup)—heat
again.
4.
Add ½ lb pecans. Bring to boil
5.
Add ½ cup heavy cream boil again
and pour over pastry
6.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Pastry should be light brown. Cool completely and cut into squares.
Use good cookie pan
